••••• My name is Anne Bradley Kiefel. I was raised in Rock Lake, ND and I have lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area for the last 10 years. I really love living in North Dakota. I grew up in a very small town, 8 people in my graduating class, so anything that I wanted to learn about art I had to learn on my own. I have been painting and taking photos ever since I can remember. I will graduate in May 2006 with a Graphic Design Technology degree from Minnesota State Community and Technical College. I love the challenges designing gives me and my favorite thing is creating something new and exciting for others to enjoy. I read about the Herd About the Prairie project and immediately knew I wanted to be part of it. I submitted my application and photos of my work and waited. Time passed and I had figured that I hadn’t been selected. One day, I received a phone call from Martha Keeler Olsen from the Lake Agassiz Arts Council. It was hard to contain my excitement. I was chosen by the FM Visitors Bureau to paint the bison they were sponsoring. This has been a great experience and I am so grateful I was part of it.
