••••• Mike Bray used leatherworking to cover his bison.••••• Mike Bray is primarily a leather artist who recived his education under the direction of Bill Gomer, master saddle maker, saddle and handcarving school, Levenworth, Kansas. He also participated in the Gathering of the Masters in Sheridan, Wyoming. Mike was one of the artist in the 2004 Buffalo Round Up Art Project in Buffalo, MN and the 2005 and 2006 Custer Stampede. He has received numerous awards for his leather carvings. The bison shows the progress of transportation and communication on the plains.
